from July 27th-August 3rd.
The team received their berth as a result of their placing in the Woodstock ASA 14A qualifier of the year when GA Impact declined
to accept their berth to nationals. The team will next participate in the Champions Showcase this coming weekend before turning
their attention to the ASA 14A Georgia State tournament and continued preparation for ASA nationals in late July. Congratulations

Team Georgia 16U '98, coached by John Erb, has been awarded a berth to the 2014 ASA 16A nationals to be held in Salem, VA,

TEAM GEORGIA ADDS 10U '05 TEAM FOR UPCOMING 2014-15 SEASON (6/11/14)
Team Georgia announces a 1st year 10U team for the 2014-2015 season. Tim Helton and Jamie Delph will be coaching our newest (and youngest) addition
to Team Georgia. With 25 years plus combined total experience in fastpitch softball, Tim and Jamie plan to extend the success of TG teams into the
10U age group. They will be concentrating on skill development and mental aspects of the game as the team prepares to play at the highest level
possible for the age group. They have access to some of the top trainers and ex-players in the game.
Tim Helton has coached thru ASA 16A travel
and has a college baseball background as well. In addition, he was an assistant with the Easton Elite Organization with Jamie Delph and a former
TG coach in the 2011-2012 season at 16A. Tim's experience also includes numerous seasons at the recreation level at Collins Hill and a couple of
seasons at North Gwinnett including All-star teams. Tim's oldest daughter will play softball at D1 Western Carolina University this coming fall.
Jamie Delph has coached travel teams in South Carolina and Georgia for the past 15 years inclusive of Gold ball at highest level. He is well read
with a strong knowledge of the game. Jamie has coached the Dixie Diamonds, SC, Lilburn T-Birds, Atlanta Blaze, Team Worth, and Easton Elite. His
daughter played in college and was offered D1 scholarships as a catcher. He does not have a daughter that will be part of the 10U team and as a
coach is doing this simply for the love of the game. More information on tryouts for the 10U team will be posted at the top of this page.

TEAM GEORGIA 18U EARNS BERTH TO ASA 18A NATIONALS & ASA 18A HALL OF FAME (6/8)
Team Georgia 18U earned a berth to ASA 18A nationals in the conclusion of the Calhoun Classic national qualifier on 5/25. The
qualifier began the weekend of 5/16-18 but play in the qualifier was suspended on Sunday when rain made play impossible. The qualifier
was reduced to the winner bracket only setting up a single game showdown for one berth to ASA nationals with East Cobb Bullets. Team
Georgia captured the berth to nationals with a 5-inning 12-4 run rule victory over the Bullets. Following up on their berth to the
ASA Nationals (Montgomery, Alabama in late July), the team participated in the ASA Hall of Fame Classic qualifier in Chatsworth this past weekend.
Needing to place in the top-4 to earn a berth, the team secured their top-4 finish on Saturday evening and then exited the qualifier to
allow the remaining teams to focus on the single berth to nationals also available at the qualifier. The team will make the trip to
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the end of June for the 26-team Hall of Fame Classic at the ASA Hall of Fame Softball Complex.
TEAM GEORGIA 12U EARNS BERTH TO 2014 PGF NATIONALS (3/18/14)

team will be coached by Don Harrison formerly of the North Gwinnett Dirt Dawgs organization. Don has significant experience

the squad to an ASA nationals berth to guide the 1st year '00 team in the 14U age group. Head coach Heath Hawk will return from a
successful season heading the 1st year 14U squad to lead the 2nd year 14U '99 team. Head coach John Erb will move
from 14U to the 1st year 16U '98 team slot after guiding his squad to a berth at ASA nationals. All 3 returning Team Georgia head
coaches had outstanding seasons in 2012-13.
In the 18U division, Team Georgia will offer a single 18A team as it did in 2012-13. At this time, the 18A team is expected to
have very limited openings and there are no plans for an open tryout. The 18A team will be looking to repeat its success from
2012-13 where it qualified for ASA 18A Nationals and ASA 18A Hall of Fame in addition to a 3rd place finish at ASA 18A GA State.
TEAM GEORGIA 12U EARNS BERTH TO 2013 ASA NATIONALS
Team Georgia 12U completed its undefeated run through the Region 4 qualifier on Sunday afternoon to earn their berth to the 2013
ASA 12U nationals. In doing so, the team becomes the 4th Team Georgia squad to qualify for 2013 nationals and at the same time
means Team Georgia will be represented in 12U, 14U, 16U, and 18U at this year's national championships. After coming close to
claiming a berth twice with 2nd and 3rd place finishes at Georgia and nationals qualifiers, the 12U team never became discouraged
or lost focus of their goal. The 12U team started their run
on Friday night with a 16-1 win over the Lady Wolverines. The team continued their run on Saturday with victories over Worth Cobras
'01 (8-0), Elite Blue 2000 (7-2), and EC Athletics - Glass (10-0) to reach the berth final. On Sunday morning/afternoon, the team defeated

coaches of the 14U squad for this outstanding achievement.
TEAM GEORGIA 14U & 18U EARN BERTHS TO ASA HALL OF FAME CLASSIC
The Team Georgia 14U and 18U teams have earned berths to the prestigious ASA Hall of Fame Classic tournaments in
their respective age groups. Both tournaments are played at the ASA Hall of Fame Complex in Oklahoma City, OK,
which is the site of the recently completed NCAA Women's College World Series. The teams will compete against
25 other teams from across the US in this national qualifier event. At stake for the 14U team is a berth to the
ASA 14U Nationals in July as the Hall of Fame awards national berths to the top-8 finishers. As 18U is already
qualified for nationals, the team is going to Oklahoma City for the competition and experience. Good luck to
both teams in OKC.
TEAM GEORGIA 18U EARNS BERTH TO ASA 18U NATIONALS
Team Georgia 18U followed up their strong showing at the Dalton qualifier where they finished 3rd overall and just out of
the money for a nationals berth with an undefeated run at the Dublin qualifier this past weekend to earn a berth at the
2013 ASA 18A nationals. The team will make the trip to Salem, VA, in late July for the nationals which takes place July 27

the nationals over the weekend in Dublin.

and defeating Atlanta Vipers (Berry/Jennings), GA Fire 96, and GA Outlaws to make it to the finals of the winner bracket.

in the qualifier, Team Georgia along with Worth Cobras 97 were awarded berths to the 2013 ASA nationals in Sunnyvale, CA.
Congratulations to Team Georgia for earning their berth against the best 16U competition in the state of Georgia and
congratulations also to Worth Cobras 97 in punching their ticket for nationals.
TEAM GEORGIA ADDS FASTPITCH SOFTBALL PROGRAM (ADDED 7/8/11)
Chris McRaney, Team Georgia Baseball Academy President, announced on Friday that Team Georgia will be adding a fastpitch
softball program starting in Fall 2011. The program will be known as Team Georgia Softball Academy and will initially feature
16U and 18U teams. Over the next few years, Team Georgia Softball is expected to grow adding other age groups until the
program encompasses teams ranging in age from 8U to 18U. There is a tremendous amount of softball talent in Georgia and
there are many fine organizations dedicated to softball such as the Atlanta Vipers, East Cobb Bullets, Georgia Fire,
and Georgia Impact to name a few. Team Georgia Baseball has been very successful in establishing itself as one of the
premier baseball programs in a very short period of time. The leadership of Team Georgia hope to take the same model
used in baseball along with the experiences and lessons learned along the way to establish Team Georgia Softball as one
the best softball programs in the state.
